What is PE-100 and why is it preferred?

PE-100 (Polyethylene 100) is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) class with a minimum 10 MPa (MRS 10) circumferential stress rating. SERTSAN manufactures PE-100 pipes at 100+ tons daily capacity across 24,000 m² of indoor production area.

PE-100 pipes are preferred in irrigation and drinking water infrastructure for corrosion resistance, flexibility and long service life (50+ year design life).

Pressure classes and selection criteria

PN6, PN10, PN16 and PN20 pressure classes are selected based on operating pressure and temperature conditions. Project engineers should evaluate flow rate, pressure loss and soil conditions.

“In PE-100 pipe selection, assembly quality and fitting compatibility are as critical as pressure class. Every batch passes pressure testing in our laboratory.”
